What is a course?
In TeachingHub, students and instructors can share and enrich their knowledge through a course-based system.
Instructors or course creators are responsible for creating lessons, quizzes, and adding attachments to courses. They can later update, modify, or remove these courses as needed. Students, on the other hand, need to purchase a course to enroll in it. This learning platform uses courses as a medium to connect users and facilitate collaborative learning. Multiple instructors can collaborate to create a course on this platform.
Who is an admin?
An admin is a user who has the highest number of privileges, permissions, and responsibilities in TeachingHub. The admin has to manage the entire system to operate the application.
On this platform, an admin can:
- Create users.
- Manage course and category.
- Manage revenue report menu.
- Grant permission to withdraw the instructor's revenue.
- Configure and update the entire system settings.
- Accept/reject the application for the instructor.
Who is an instructor?
The instructor is a user in TeachingHub who creates and sells courses in their areas of expertise.
An instructor can add, remove, and update lessons, quizzes, and attachments. They can also review sales and payout settings. Instructors earn income by receiving a percentage of the course price upon sale. Additionally, instructors can message and discuss lessons with admins and enrolled students.
Who is a student?
In TeachingHub, students are users looking to learn or enhance their skills in their chosen subjects.
On this platform, students can purchase or subscribe to courses for enrollment. They can start or continue their courses from the point they last accessed. Students can also browse courses and create wishlists. Additionally, in TeachingHub, a student can apply to become an instructor.
What is Drip content?
The method of releasing your content step by step is called drip content. You can lock new lessons in a course using the drip content feature.
When drip content is activated, students must complete a specific percentage or time of the previous lessons to unlock new ones. They cannot access new lessons without first watching the previous videos. Additionally, the student's course progress is automatically updated after unlocking a new lesson. The course creator can enable or disable this feature at any time.
